Standards Alert: Gas installations Part 1: General installations

The 2022 edition of AS/NZS5601.1 has now been published.

As per the provisions of the Safety Regulation section 6, the 2022 edition will become the safety requirement in Qld six months after the date of publication.

Details:

• Publication Number: AS/NZS 5601.1:2022.
• Title: Gas installations, Part 1: General installations.
• Date of Publication: 30^th September 2022.
• Safety Requirement: 30^th March 2023.

In essence, this means compliance with the 2022 edition will be required after 30/03/23.

The Inspectorate will be undertaking communications to raise awareness and promote the new edition within the industry.
